Trans - Atlantyk

(...) "Trans-Atlantyk" by Piotr Sieklucki is a spectacle that can take your breath away, amaze with ideas and precision of execution. In each scene, one can find symmetry, order and discipline: whether it is in the positioning of the actors or in the decorations - symmetrically arranged columns, or finally in the structure of the performance - two equal parts, each of which begins with a song. The show is polished. The director's intentions were fully realized. The actors perfectly reflect the character of the characters they play, they are authentic and persuasive. The performance is completed with decorations by Łukasz Błażejewski. (...) Youth is coming. At the Teatr im. Żeromski, director Piotr Szczerski gives young directors the right to vote. Thanks to this, you can admire a spectacle as exquisite and thrilling as "Trans-Atlantyk" on the Kielce stage.

The actors play perfectly well, using Gombrowicz's language full of inversion, dynamics, epithets and neologisms characteristic of the author, and it is all understandable, because it harmonizes with the character's structure. Almost every scene was awarded with applause during the premiere performance. (...) I do not use this formula often, but today I will use it with full satisfaction: "Trans-Atlantyk" by Witold Gombrowicz based on Piotr Sieklucki at the Teatr im. S. Żeromski in Kielce is a must see.
