Awards of the International Gombrowicz Festival
Starting from the 8th edition, the International Gombrowicz Festival has the form of a competition in which the performances are valued by an international professional jury of outstanding artists. We present you the list of winners of each edition of the Festival.
There are both awards for directing, adaptation, outstanding acting roles and team play. The jury also awards GRAND PRIX - the Award of the President of the City of Radom for the best performance presented at the Festival.

GRAND PRIX
Award of the President of the City of Radom in the form of a sculpture carved by prof. Krzysztof Nitsch for the Jerzy Szaniawski Dramatic Theater in Wałbrzych for the play "Ivona, Princess of Burgundia" directed by Artur Tyszkiewicz.
Prizes in the amount of PLN 3,000 for:
- Mikołaj Grabowski for text adaptation and the play "Trans-Atlantyk" direction at the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Krakow
- Waldemar Zawodziński for the play "The Marriage" direction at the Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Lodz
Equal acting awards in the amount of PLN 2,000 for:
- Andrzej Wichrowski for the role of Father in the play "The Marriage" directed by Waldemar Zawodziński at the Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Lodz
- Tadeusz Huk for the role of Minister Kosiubidzki in the play "Trans-Atlantyk" directed by Mikołaj Grabowski at the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Krakow
- Jerzy Grałka for the role of Father in the play "Trans-Atlantyk" directed by Mikołaj Grabowski at the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Krakow
- Dirk Van Dijck for the role in the play "We Save No Lives" directed by a collective, realized by the Van Dijck, Turbiasz & Dehollander group from Brussels (Belgium)
Equal acting awards in the amount of PLN 1,000 for:
- Michał Kowalczyk for the role of Kneadus in the play "Ferdydurke" directed by Bartłomiej Wyszomirski at the Jan Kochanowski Popular Theatre in Radom
- Małgorzata Łakomska for the title role in the play "Ivona, Princess of Burgundia" directed by Artur Tyszkiewicz at the Jerzy Szaniawski Dramatic Theater in Wałbrzych
- Dariusz Maj for the role of King of Ignations in the play "Ivona, Princess of Burgundia" directed by Artur Tyszkiewicz at the Jerzy Szaniawski Dramatic Theater in Wałbrzych
- Marcin Kalisz for the role of Gombrowicz in the play "Trans-Atlantyk" directed by Mikołaj Grabowski at the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Krakow
