DESCRIPTION
Emanuele Riva was born in Chenimenil. She began studying acting at the Center d'art dramatique in Paris in 1953. In 1959 she received the "Crystal Star" award from the Film Academy for her role in the film "Hiroshima, my love" and in 1962 the award for the best female role at the Venice Festival for "Teresa Desqueyroux".
