Who is the Dancer - the Dancer of lawyer Kraykowski? An admirer, stalker, or just a modern stalker? Marked by an unusual and mysterious disease - epilepsy - he feels anointed by this holy affliction. His relationship with the patron, a man of success and a perfect world order, was stretched between love and hate, the simultaneous erection of an altar and a blasphemous desire to overthrow. Could it be a son-father relationship, and ultimately a man-god relationship? Everything is played out in a trance-like rhythm of carnival laughter, a frantic dance that creates and destroys. In such an image of reality it is impossible to maintain a balance, to separate the tone seriously from the mockery. But isn't this an extremely up-to-date vision of the world around us? A world where real tragedy immediately grotesque.

In the human church in Gombrowicz, one creates another, exalts and elevates him to the dignity of the untouchable king, then - like the king of the carnival - to touch and knock him down. Let us not be fooled - terror lurks behind the mask of laughter and fun.
