Pornografia

Waldemar Śmigasiewicz does not dress Gombrowicz in costumes cut by Dior. His "Pornografia" is unaccustomed, so he is baffling (...). But it's brilliant, worth watching and thinking about.

It is a very Gombrowicz performance, regardless of that - Waldemar Śmigasiewicz's own. The viewer succumbs to the dark, twisted logic of events, the madness of distortions and the satisfaction of fiery excitement, the struggle of the wind-blown sublime and internal disgust, the confrontation between the old and the young, maturity and disbelief, defilement and guilt. (...) This metaphysical strangeness in the ordinary is dazzlingly captured by the actors, the entire team, winged by Gombrowicz's form, seeks liberation from the embrace of the parody and absurdity of the world. to extreme pathology voyeurism and obsession with eroticism, jealousy, fear, entanglement, demonism, cheating, nosy and outright obtuseness. And on top of that, everything is irresistibly funny, comic sophistication, kept at an excellent pace, rhythms and colors, simply a delight for the theater.
