Ferdydurke, or in other words the time of inevitable murder

The performance has a nerve, the pace (...) is refined in detail by both the director and the musician - the music here is brilliant, catchy, "ostinato", repeating the same fragments with small changes in color. And finally, and perhaps - above all - we are watching a spectacle that has a well-thought-out scenography - incredibly functional at the same time: drawers that slide out of walls full of books, act as "incubators", in which new heroes of the performance and school desks hatch. The idea is beautiful in its simplicity, and at the same time how theatrical! (...) The performance in Kalisz provides the viewer with a lot of satisfaction. On stage, we watch a band - mostly young -: full of passion, genuine commitment, hardworking and inventive. (...) The Kalisz theater can boast of this spectacle - both in musical and drama theaters. The performance lasts two hours without a break and during this time the viewer plays together with the actors - theatrical matter and the musical convention: laughs, stamps and claps.
