The new adaptation of Gombrowicz's novel by Montownia strikes with its clarity. Waldemar Śmigasiewicz carved from the novel the essence of the essence, not only recreating Gombrowicz's mental cord in the one and a half hour long play but saturating it with contemporary meanings and references.
