"Gombrowicz's brilliant work is extremely up-to-date in today's Europe which is looking for its identity. We all seem to be performerss of a rather low quality operetta because kitsch and ethical dilettantism gain strength. Small - hearted individuals, who occupy offices in every regime based on strenght, put on a face of generosity and bloated demagogy in front of our eyes. Nevertheless, their nakedness is only another disguise, inspired by the spontaneity of the situation - which is far from the deep need for clearness.
