Andrzej Jakimiec - (born May 24, 1948 in Wałbrzych, died June 17, 2014 in Łapy) - Polish theater director, literary director and theater director. A graduate of the Drama Directing Department of the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Krakow. He worked as a literary manager at theaters in Białystok and Tarnów, as the artistic director of the Forum Stage in Kraków, and from 1987. as director of the A. Węgierki. He directed here, among others Slaughterhouse, Moniza Clavier, Contract, Emigrants, Ambassador Mrożek, The Wedding of S. Wyspiański, Terminator P. Handke, The White Marriage of T. Różewicz, Lesson E. Ionesco, Ferdydurke W. Gombrowicz. For me, every space is scenic - said A. Jakimiec and played his performances at the Philharmonic, the Wedding Palace, the Branicki Palace in Choroszcz, the fire station, the open-air museum, gravel pit, on the water.
