XVI MFG Iwona księżniczka Burgunda - Teatr Wybrzeże, Gdańsk

The title Ivona, although considered unattractive, becomes the fiancée of Prince Philip, who proposes to her in spite of everyone. Something that was supposed to be the prince's puppy antics, however, results in serious consequences. Iwona begins to focus the attention of the entire court and causes confusion in his life. Eventually she becomes a threat to him and no one doubts what should be done with her.

In Adam Orzechowski's interpretation, Ivona, like the audience, comes to the theater. The patriarchal and violent world of the court does not receive her with love - on the contrary, it wants to get rid of her in a sophisticated way.

The court reality is created between the audience and the actors, and being in it allows us to ask ourselves important questions: to what extent do we take responsibility for what happens around us? What happens in a person who is perceived by someone in a certain way? Finally, can we all commit a crime under certain circumstances, and do we accidentally commit crimes every day, though not necessarily in a bloody and spectacular way? Are we a part of the court, or an Iwona, or perhaps both?

During the performance there is a lot of interaction with the audience, there are loud sound effects, including gunshots.
