An original story may be written down as an absurd novel. A 30-year-old man is cast into a gym and starts attending high school. He goes on to fall in love at first glance with a student, while his friend admires Sakuo and together they go to the countryside, where they join their relatives.

Ferdydurke is both a psychological and philosophical treatise and social satire. It’s a mocking but helpless tale about human relations, with the inevitable absurd and all-covering ‘mugs’ lurking everywhere.

Chiten, meaning “locus” or “point”, is a theatre company led by director Motoi Miura. It specializes in performances created out of collages using fragments of existing texts.

Gombrowicz's "The Marriage" is not an ordinary drama or a story about everyday life. The author takes the audience to a world that - like contemporary Kosovo - is struggling with the trauma of the past and trying to build a new reality.

“Whenever I see any mystique, be it virtue, or family, or faith, or homeland, so many times I have to commit some indecent act,” - Gombrowicz said. The indecent act at this point of unlimited time and space - in dreamland - manifests itself in upturned flags, Hoots fingers by Hooters Girls, bloody insurrection and declaration!
